During the first lockdown of the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic one of our founders, Dr. Thomas Meisel started together with colleagues a micro- and nanoplastic JourFix. What began as a small virtual exchange, quickly evolved into an interdisciplinary forum, bringing together researchers from diverse scientific backgrounds. The meetings fostered many hours of stimulating presentations, in-depth discussions, and the exchange of ideas for micro- and nanoplastics research.

We as AMINAR are more than happy to continue this Webinar series to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and support collaboration across institutions and scientific fields.

The Webinar will be held monthly, every first monday, from 16:30-18:00 local time (Vienna, Berlin, Budapest).

The aspects discussed cover a wide range of research fields, e.g.,

• analytical chemistry (detection and measurement of MNP)
• toxicology
• immunology
• pathology
• biomedicine
• but also material science aspects of polymers.
